Indy had a very warm December, almost 5 degrees above normal. January was almost right on normal, just slightly below. And if it weren't for those 2 measly nights where the temp dropped below 0, January would have finished above normal. And so far February has been well above normal, 4 degrees above normal so far. We've already had 2 days this month above 60 and another 2 above 50. That's 4 out of 12 in February when our normal high is between 37 and 40 degrees. I really don't think here there is much cold to complain about.

There's around a foot of snow here now, and it's still snowing lightly, at around 28 degrees. The crazy thing is, this amount of snow is on the lower end of places north of Seattle--I saw a report from someone in Port Angeles, on the north side of the Olympic Peninsula, with 4.5 feet!

All this lousy weather does is to create more potholes where there are already way too many of them.

3 hrs of snow. 3 hours of sleet here. Temp only 23 so not expecting rain anytime soon.

Loop last 4hrs. I still don't see any stations north of Central NJ reporting rain.

1-3" of snow across the area so far.

Eastern MA getting snow but the changeover is coming. Note Hartford how it just changed over

(Use the metars, not the actual radar)

As my station's meteorologists put it, "It wants to snow, it's desperate to snow." We're expecting three storms in five days starting sometime Friday in Kansas City. Someone could get 16" by next Wednesday.

As I'm sitting in my midtown manhattan office, it's finally raining. Slushy mess on the streets.

And this will be *THE* big snowstorm of the year? SMH.
