The southeast has seen the worst of a rapid warming planet, while people up north are soon to follow over the next 30 years.

In the LA Area it will start on Saturday. Rain on the next 1/3 days for the next week after that.

So this will be a really good storm for the whole West Coast. SF and LA in particular need a really good soaking.
CA from Sacramento northwards is getting a lot of rain. They need it the most after what we saw in Redding and Paradise.

Coldest: Dalwinnie
There honestly doesn't seem like much of a difference between those six locations. I bet I could find bigger differences in weather forecasts just looking at North Carolina or Oklahoma.

Today was miserable. I woke up at noon (partied a little too hard last night, watched fireworks under heat lamps on a 50 degree mild night, so that was nice).

It's been in the low 40's all day and no sun, just dark and dull. Rain starts later tonight and rain all day tomorrow. Low tonight 38, high tomorrow 41 under heavy rain. Repeat on Thursday. High of 60 under full sun at Friday, so just 2 more days to "wait out" before good weather returns.

I'm feeling a trend here in southeast PA - forecast was showing a decent snowfall of 3-5 inches for January 8-9 just 3 days ago, now I'm not seeing a single high temperature below 40 through at least January 15. Since the 1st week of December, snow-lovers online have kept insisting a cold snowy pattern will return in 2 weeks lol
