You are awesome! Nice stat to find!

While April wasn't even a Top 40 cold for NYC (odd cause I thought everyone else was a Top 10); May is 6th warmest so the gap is wide. 17.4° gap.

1887 and 1944 is the largest gap.

Although... You can have 2 warm months or 2 cold months and have a large gap..

May 2015 was 2nd warmest in NYC but April was 25th warmest and the gap is wide.

1874 was the coldest April on record and 8th coldest May yet the gap is large.

Spring is usually the time of the highest gaps. I'll try to get a chart together soon.

The largest was Feb (25.5°) - March (46.9°) 1979. Gap of 21.4 degrees

Well, Alberto missed us as well! We had wind. We had some rain, but not anywhere near the 1-1.5 inches promised. I had less than a quarter inch of rain in my gauge this morning. Still struggling with dry conditions. Chance of storms today but it looks to be mainly south of Indy. Dewpoints have been in the 70s for almost 24 hours now. It is very miserable even though the temp right now is just 73F.

Big change in the weather yesterday for Alberta brought snow to the Icefields Parkway between Banff and Jasper. Elevation is about 2000m.

Speaking of Canada, looks like a large area of 90s developed south of Hudson Bay. Anyone know where to grab a temp map showing yesterday's highs?

Ahhh, snow. Just think...in just 4 short months we'll start tracking snowstorms again.

Upper Low sits over the region in Northeast. Some areas will see 40s for lows and 60s for highs under the cold pool of air. Will also create instability so chance of showers each day.
Cloudy here again this morning. Crazy.

Thanks. Some of that data looks inaccurate (couple random 80s in Atlantic Canada surrounded by 40s and 50s) but overall a good source!
