Still no 90's for my area. It can stay cloudy like this forever if i had my wish for every summer.

It's been misting/drizzling here all day. Annoying.

I need some stable California weather for 3 months straight.

At least its staying in the low 60s though..
Better than being in the mid West today. Look at Iowa.

Zoomed out

Looks brutal in Iowa today. Fun contrast between Southern Minnesota and points north. Pretty hot in Wisconsin as well.

Check it out... A still then a loop..

This is tomorrow mornings upper height map..

1. Watch Tropical Storm Alberto in the loop, watch where it goes and what it does.

2. Watch that little dip in the Jet stream, watch where it goes and what it does.

3. Watch the atmosphere in motion and why things happen.

Ok, here's the loop next 2 weeks..

Watch Alberto hit the Panhandle then head towards the Ohio valley but what happens? It stops and moves south and dwindles out. Why?

Well, watch that current Jet stream dip, it stops as well and balls up into an Upper low in the North Atlantic.

basically blocking Alberto from moving into the Northeast. That Upper Low keeps spinning and spinning in that region. That should keep Eastern Canada and New England , Maybe northeast U.S on the cooler/around normal side next 10 days.

Looks like dip after dip coming too.
