It's rained in my corner of northeast Georgia for 16 consecutive days, including today. Through the first 14 days of May, Athens received only a trace of precipitation, but has received 8.81" of rain since the 15th, not including today. I had some more rain during the wee hours of this morning, and it's raining again right now, so if any of this translates to Athens, then Athens could be pushing 10.00" of rain for the month. Here are the daily rainfall totals in Athens since May 15:
Meanwhile, it's been pretty dry in Louisiana. I have 2.37" of rain for the month (much of which came from a thunderstorm last Friday).
