South flow today. If we get some heating we could see some build ups south of me and head my way with any luck. Rain offshore to my west and heavy rain way offshore on the east coast.
Not too often we see this since I'm not on the immediate coast (about 65-70 miles inland near I 95 to be exact) so its kinda cool when we get these hardcore onshore flows with no change in temperature

Very summer like pattern here the last week. Pretty much consistent 50s at night, 70s during the day with heavy thunderstorms. Headed for a high of 78F today and possibility of strong storms again
We hit 89F yesterday in Indianapolis, officially breaking the record high set 137 years ago! We missed out on our first 90 degree reading of the year, though.
We could desperately use some rain! May is typically our wettest month averaging 5.05 inches of rain. So far halfway through the month I've recorded just 0.62 inches! Over the past month going back to April 16, I've recorded just 1.28 inches of rain. It all keeps going north of us where they are waterlogged less than 2 hours away! One station in northern Indiana has recorded almost 4 and a half inches of rain the first half of this month. South Bend just set a record for daily rainfall yesterday. It's just a bit over 100 miles north of here.
New Orleans busted their record high yesterday with 96. Tied all time record high for month of May. New Orleans usually doesn't get this hot this early, although it is common in the summer:
Seems you are the one who was wrong. Kinda rude to say YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT YOUR TALKING ABOUT.
I can't read your mind.
