Last nights low was 76 and previous 2 nights before that 74... drove home tonight to lightning lighting up the sky... welcome to Raleiami...

Hotter than here lol.
Today here was Mostly Sunny with a High of 86F and a low of 79F. Nasty for this time of year but at least it wasn't rainy today.
Being in Arizone this past weekend made me realize how much more energized I feel in dry sunny weather even if it's hot.

Its bad man, parts of the state saw triple digit heat indexes... raleigh came close.. i think highest we got was 98... as much as i love this weather im pissed because im sure the change will be abrupt... you know, october started great, dry, sunny.... though we were around 3 degrees below average because of those morning low.... but it was sunny.... felt like fall...now if i could get this weather to last it would be nice but obviously i cant so let it cool down, unless this pattern lasts till forever lol... gfs is a roaster out to 384 lol.
We finally had a sunny day today. Last time I saw the sun was Friday. The high reached 77 following a morning low of 59.
That's strange, we've had nothing but sun here the past 2-3 weeks. Since mid-September this is one of the sunniest and most comfortable stretches of weather I can remember in my entire life

September was very sunny here too and the first few days of October were as well but the past 5 days or so have been cloudy and wet although still much above average.
Every day in Nashville so far in October has hit 80 F / 27 C with the exception of October 8, which had a high of 77 and low of 72.
Average high for October 1-10 is 83 F / 28 C, mean is 73 F / 23 C, and low is 63 F / 17 C.
Summer just keeps draaaaaaagging on. 10-day forecast has only two days with highs below 75 F / 24 C.
My 21-day running temperature average calculation shows that summer has run until at least September 30 this year. Latest end to summer in the 1959-present record (21-day average dropping below 72 F / 22 C) was October 6, in 1973. Looks like 2017 could easily beat that record.
