Temperature as of 1:15 am now:

Göle: 5.1°C
Ardahan: 8.5°C

The weather got cloudy in North-Eastern Turkey so the weather is warmer tonight. Göle is colder like always.

Göle: https://www.mgm.gov.tr/tahmin/il-ve-...ilce=G%C3%B6le

Ardahan: https://www.mgm.gov.tr/tahmin/il-ve-...spx?il=Ardahan

It looks like Göle will have a low above freezing today because of cloudy weather.

This thread might as well be renamed Summer 2017 thread (part 2) for me because that's what it's felt like here... hardly any fall weather whatsoever so far lol

High 60s but with the clouds and breeze and off and on rain I've found it cozy. Wearing shorts and a T-shirt and windows open.

another image from california

https://twitter.com/ABC/status/917525173443624962

from mid-week last week

Generalized statewide warming will occur over the next few days, and some late-season heat will occur over near-coastal portions of central and southern California this weekend as offshore flow develops. In fact, gusty hilltop winds and very low humidity will lead to fire weather concerns this weekend in the Bay Area and Southern California coastal hills. But a gradual cool-down back toward typical values is expected once again later next week, and perhaps even a bit below average after that.

doesn't sound like anything unusual for fall there, just bad luck. here's the setup this weekend

Typical early autumn conditions prevail; some thoughts on La Niña : California Weather Blog
