Your comment to this is what's confusing me with your comment from this morning.. High 60s dews is cozy for you but upper 50s/low 60s you're sweating? Clouds vs Sun bother you more than humidity? Not me. Dews control my life.
yea, I was surprised I was sweating. It was in the high 60s, no breeze and the sun beating directly on me. I was also drinking hot coffee, though I was still warm afterwards. If you put a thermometer in the sun it reads much higher. I had a breeze most of the time yesterday with the humidity, if I was running or biking it'd have bothered me.

An absolutely disgusting, depressing, colourless autumn here. Just endless cloudy, mild muck with an entire absence of interesting or pleasant weather.

Up there with the most unappealing and uninspiring seasons I can remember. A complete write-off. Temperatures constantly suppressed by day, stupidly mild nights, rain nearly every day and hardly any sun. It’s got nothing going for it at all.

It hasn’t reached more than 16.4C since 8th September which is the worst period for warmth this early in the season since 1976. At the same time there was a record-breaking run of six consecutive nights, during the final week of September, in which the temperature never fell below 12C. Maxes were around 14-15C under fog, rain and drizzle.

Since dropping to 2.6C on the 1st October, it has failed to go below 7.8C and there hasn’t been a single sunny day so far this month. The outlook is for more of the same revolting cloudy mild filth that has become ubiquitous in October since 2001 completely spoiling the chances of good tree colour. Just horrible

and now it's in the fog. Fog and fire sounds uniquely Californian
