Apparently the low is supposed to be in the low 50s next Monday. I'll believe it when I see it.
Yep, It was 60F here and 60F at the airport. Unlike today I would be surprised if we didn't see 40's next week. The run that just came out was a dud (see above) but the one before had mid-40's here .

It was quite a bit warmer down here today. Temps rose well into the 50s this afternoon after being in the mid 30s this morning. Looks like I'm going to be seeing another freeze tonight.

40s with sun does feel quite a bit different than 40s with clouds/rain, but I do agree that he was exaggerating. Cold lovers like doing that.

Lol yeah I know - but he's not a cold lover though. He just tries to make Raleigh seem warmer than it is, so even if it's below normal, he's going to try his hardest to play it off like it's "warm".

lmao I wouldn't call Carolina winters freezing, I don't think any one would unless they have little cold tolerance. average high is 50 during the coldest part of winter average high rises this Saturday to 51. I feel sympathetic to cold lovers in the south, winter is so brief and some years it doesn't even come. After this warm December winter literally weather wise started the first of January and now average highs are rising and we are climbing out of "winter". and now after writing this I realize your being sarcastic lmao

Lol I wouldn't call myself a cold lover but I do enjoy a few days out of the year with highs in the 30s with full sun.

Interesting article about how the Europeans shine in weather forecasting. The ECMWF is just better science all the way round than GFS. And the UK Met model is also better than GFS. GFS is third.

Yeah, but this airmass is dry, so really no chance for snow, except for Lakes. I don't think anybody enjoys subzero weather. Am I wrong? Just going by your thumbs up icon.
