Oh yea, I could see big puffy clouds and thought they were probably lake-effect clouds. Took a photo, will post it in a bit. I thought I generally wouldn't get a Lake Erie flow, I'm too far north.

Just the GFS? Or are other models showing it? Those totals for north of NYC in the Hudson Valley or Catskills are enormous.

NWS observations says it's "Fair" outside and I look outside and it's 100% overcast. And I've seen this discrepancy numerous times before as well, what gives? It's kind of annoying - makes me doubt whether they have the temperature right as well.

Canadian not showing it (as much) but shows activity and does stay cold. Lots of NW flowing days.

Euro is a party pooper. Doesn't show activity. Just cold and 1 really cold blast Monday (figures, after the NorEaster). That NorEaster was supposed to happen Monday!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Actually Saturday looks close for snow on the Euro... will have to investigate more. Maybe post some soundings in the Storm thread.

Monday 850mb temps. Nice to see these digs in the East again. Sunny and Cold. PERFECT! Just need a snowy landscape now
