Had some heavy thunderstorms this evening. It seemed more typical of a spring or summer storm than a winter one with the frequent lightning strikes and heavy downpours. Nearly two inches in my rain gauge.

Airport is recording 3.12 inches for today so far!

ORD's Mean so far is equal to a the normal for Nashville (MDW's is 42.6F)

Right now the mean for Lexington is 48.4F, which is almost 2F warmer than a normal December in Columbia, SC!
