For the second picture, I'm just barely in the snow zone. Currently TWC shows a low of 36 with an 80% chance of precipitation Tuesday night, cutting it close.

Current temps on left. 10-30 below normal East of Mississippi. Wind Chills on right. Feels like Sub Zero from DC northwards.

Mt Washington Wind Chill is actually -63 but this software is capped out at -50 (don't ask)

Normal Mid February Max is 40°, Min is 25°.

This forecast looks like it's for the mountains not coastal CT! WOW.

I'm used to seeing just like 1-2 days worth, not a whole week especially in February! Crazy.

Broken Record Alert* Theres STILL no thaw or warming period in sight possibly going into March now. Been saying this for so many weeks now. GEES

9 degrees where I am in NJ. Just dropped from 10 degrees.

Could you tell me the difference between "wind chill factor" and "feels like"?

Weather. com always has a "feels like" below the "actual" temperature.
I wonder if their 'feels like' is the same as wind chill.

Same just different wording. Wind Chill of 10 below zero means when the wind blows it makes it feel like as if the air temp was 10 below zero. I'm sure you knew that though..

"Real Feel" and Wind Chill are different.

Real Feel was created by Accuweather. It factors in other aspects like sunlight, cloud cover, humidity, ect. It's more accurate than the old Wind Chill which is still widely used

What is the AccuWeather RealFeel Temperature?

2 F/-17 C with a windchill of -13 F/-25 C at 8:00AM.

Wicked winter weather on the way this weekend.

...HIGH WIND WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM LATE SATURDAY NIGHT
THROUGH SUNDAY AFTERNOON...

* WINDS...NORTHWEST 20 TO 30 MPH WITH GUSTS UP TO 55 MPH.

* TIMING...THE HIGHEST WINDS SHOULD OCCUR LATE SATURDAY NIGHT
INTO SUNDAY MORNING.

* IMPACTS...BE PREPARED FOR POWER OUTAGES... POSSIBLY LASTING FOR
MORE THAN 24 HOURS. TREES AND TREE LIMBS WILL BE KNOCKED DOWN.
MINOR STRUCTURAL DAMAGE TO HOMES IS POSSIBLE. DO NOT PARK
VEHICLES WHERE TREES CAN FALL ON THEM. MAKE SURE ALL CELL PHONE
AND ELECTRONIC DEVICES ARE FULLY CHARGED. IF YOU HAVE
GENERATORS... PLEASE MAKE SURE THEY ARE WORKING PROPERLY AND
PROPERLY VENTILATED. EXPECT BRIDGE RESTRICTIONS. EXPECT BLOWING
SNOW TO HAMPER TRAVEL AND SNOW REMOVAL.

* SNOW...THREE TO FIVE INCHES OF SNOW EXPECTED SATURDAY INTO
SATURDAY NIGHT. A BURST OF ONE TO TWO INCHES OF SNOW WITHIN AN
HOUR IS POSSIBLE AROUND DINNER TIME SATURDAY. THE WIND WILL
CAUSE SOME BLOWING AND DRIFTING PROBLEMS.

It's going to be nuts. 45mph+ with powder snow on the ground???? Get the cameras ready. Hope motorists are ready.

Cold front has cleared Florida now. Current Surface map

NWS Melbourne Florida Discussion

NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE MELBOURNE FL
445 AM EST FRI FEB 13 2015

TODAY/TONIGHT...COLD FRONT IS PUSHING DOWN THE FL PENINSULA EARLY
THIS MORNING...CURRENTLY ACROSS OKEECHOBEE AND THE TREASURE COAST.
COLD ADVECTION ON N/NW WINDS WILL PRODUCE HIGH TEMPERATURES ABOUT
10 DEGREES BELOW NORMAL DESPITE FULL SUNSHINE. HIGH TEMPS WILL
STRUGGLE TO GET OUT OF THE 50S IN NORTH LAKE/VOLUSIA
COUNTIES...WITH HIGHS IN THE 60S EXPECTED ACROSS THE REMAINDER OF
THE FA.

THE NE SWELL HAS DECREASED A BIT BOTH IN HEIGHT AND PERIODICITY SO
HAVE ALLOWED THE HIGH SURF ADVISORY TO EXPIRE. BUT THERE IS STILL
A LOT OF ENERGY BEING TRANSPORTED INTO THE SURF ZONE AND ONTO THE
BEACHES. SO HAVE RAISED A HIGH RISK OF RIP CURRENTS.

IT WILL BE COLD TONIGHT WITH LOWS IN THE 30S ACROSS MUCH OF THE
NORTH AND INTERIOR. FORECAST LOW TEMPS ARE JUST ABOVE FREEZING
ACROSS LAKE AND VOLUSIA COUNTIES. WITH THE HIGH CENTER REMAINING
TO THE WEST...CONDITIONS DO NOT LOOK IDEAL FOR WIDESPREAD FREEZING
TEMPS SO HAVE NOT RAISED FREEZE WATCHES/WARNINGS. BUT NORMALLY
COLDER LOCATIONS NORTH AND WEST OF ORLANDO MAY BRIEFLY REACH
FREEZING NEAR DAYBREAK SAT. AIRMASS IS QUITE DRY AND WITH A
LITTLE WIND DO NOT THINK A FROST ADVISORY IS WARRANTED BUT ADDED
SOME PATCHY FROST FOR WIND PROTECTED AREAS N/W OF ORLANDO.

14F with a wind chill of -1F down here.

Earlier it hit 8F with a chill around -10F.

I plan to be outside for at least three hours today (non-consecutive).
