The -22 F in Pennsylvania and -25 F in lower Upstate New York is impressive. Are those mountaintop stations?

Another arctic airmass on Thursday after more snow! We're forecast to hit 3F.

This February so far is almost unprecedented. The only years that compare in terms of winter temps are 2004 and 1994. Here at KISP, the following records might be in jeopardy:

most days below 15F
coldest month on record (in terms of avg and min temps)
Lowest monthly max
February record low

Wicked Wind Chill Values out there. Snow is blowing around here I cant imagine where fresh fallen snow is.

-27 Burlington, -26 Buffalo & Binghamton, -22 Albany & Syracuse, -21 Erie

-76 Mt Washington!

Yup, airmass gets colder end of this week and STILL no end in sight. Euro has rain and mid 30s next weekend but GFS has snow and no 30s till March

Very cold for northern New England but the AWOS in Concord, NH had an error as the temperature there rose throughout the night when all other stations reported consistent or dropping temperatures with north winds. They still used the 30F as the high temperature there for today. Talk about bizarre.
