Low/mid 60s for highs this weekend. Still mild for a February "cold snap".

Honestly, there's more then 1 image we can pick to show which means this isn't a 1 day thing. This looks to last but come in waves.

Here's GFS12z Monday morning lows. Are we going to have to worry about crops down south?? What's growing now anyway?

Wunderground and NWS forecasts are showing much milder temperatures: lows around -6 and highs around 12-17. Either the models are going too extreme are the forecasts are just being slow are matching. That 3°F high forecast for Friday is gone, replaced by a not memorable 17°F

Wow!! That's a huge difference! Yeah, models had backed off the cold and then forecasts reflected that. But now models seem to be showing it cold again. Watch the forecasts drop down again if tonights updates show as cold. Lol

How about some humor from NWS Philly?

Mount Holly:

.LONG TERM /TUESDAY NIGHT THROUGH MONDAY/...

THE COLD FRONT ASSOCIATED WITH THIS SYSTEM WILL MOVE
ACROSS THE AREA ON THURSDAY, USHERING IN BITTER COLD AIR FOR
THURSDAY NIGHT AND FRIDAY
UNFORTUNATELY...THE GRADIENT GENERATED BY THIS DEPARTING BUT
DEEPENING LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM WILL BRING GUSTY NORTHWEST WINDS TO
OUR AREA...DRIVING WIND CHILL TEMPERATURES DOWN TO THE NEGATIVE
TEENS (AND PERHAPS BEYOND IN THE HIGHER ELEVATIONS UP NORTH) FOR
THURSDAY NIGHT. HIGH TEMPERATURES ON FRIDAY WILL STRUGGLE TO
EMERGE OUT OF THE SINGLE DIGITS IN THE FAR NORTH, AND WON`T GET
OUT OF THE LOW TO MID 20S IN THE SOUTH...SOME TWENTY DEGREES BELOW
NORMAL FOR THIS TIME OF YEAR. ANOTHER COLD NIGHT IS ON TAP FOR
FRIDAY NIGHT, BUT WITH LESS WIND IT MIGHT NOT FEEL QUITE SO
COLD...AND THE HOUSE WILL BE A LITTLE EASIER TO HEAT.

ALL-IN-ALL, NOT A VERY NICE WEEK AHEAD...UNLESS YOU/RE A POLAR BEAR!
