LOL, I'm not mad at all. I'm just letting y'all know what's coming. It's the Houston homers who always sound mad on here and who refuse to acknowledge facts and listen to reason.

All you snobbish, HBCU, "homegrown" Houston Black professionals who look down on Dallas's Black community and constantly try to bash Dallas to make Houston look so much better will be high tailing it up I-45 with all your belongings and your families packed trying to get in where you fit in in Dallas's Black professional community.
Amen.

Perception is not always reality. Your personal observations aren't set in stone, and I'm sure I could easily find someone who would say the exact opposite of you. There are currently no signs pointing to Houston being the next Atlanta. We don't even have the mainstream entertainment industry to support that type of environment.

Quite frankly, only a fool would simply take your word as law without you being able to provide any evidence to support it. From your posts, I could simply ascertain that you've got something against Houston. These "facts" of yours aren't worth a dime, sir.

Good Lord, I didn't realize it was just as bad on both sides of the aisle. Some of you Dallas sunshine pumpers need to tap the brakes. Y'all are getting a little personal on both sides.

Now I know 4/20 was yesterday, but please pass me some of what you're smoking, cause it's strong, potent, and you're an excellent writer of fictional stories!

BTW, I'm not from Houston.

Default Let the haters hate and just move forward

No denying, the article in D-Magazine exposes some valid issues that DFW civic leaders should focus attention on. Mainly, the lack of visibility of Black professionals in the area. Ultimately, it's positive word of mouth that will attract others.

There are plenty of amenities in place, the area just needs to grow them.

Dallas Black Chamber of Commerce

Dallas Black Dance Theatre :: Stepping Ahead Across the Nation

African American Museum Dallas

Paul Quinn College and the development of an Education Highway in South Dallas.
Dallas' Education Highway

In 2011, the National Urban League Policy Institute named Dallas-Fort Worth one of the nation's Top Ten cities for Blacks to do business.
Strong diversity policies nurture black-owned businesses
