You are a sad, sad man with way too much time on your hands.

You also don't know the difference between fact and contrived bull****.

601 - Houston is the undisputed leader when it comes to size of inferiority complex (see above)
602 - No pesky tourists due to Houston's national reputation as a squalid hellhole
603 - Houston doesn't waste money on things like attractive architecture or city planning
604 - No need to clean sidewalks in Houston, the acid rain takes care of it.
605 - No camera crews to get in your way since all TV shows shooting in Texas ignore Houston

Hopefully the mods will merge this with the smackdown thread. There was no need for another thread on this balogna.

I still say a "leading" indicator of a booming or declining areas is how the schools perform in UIL competition or other athletic leagues.

And Houston area teams don't match up compared to DFW teams for the last two Decades. My God, you're next to the Ocean and can't put together a decent swim team.

Not just public schools but even compared to elite Private schools. St. Marks and Jesuit wipe the floor with anything in Houston.

To the OP, were you bored when you made this list? You're not exactly helping the Houstonians who are always on the defensive about being insecure, suffer from an inferiority complex, and supposedly live in a "boring" city if you took the time to make this.

And I like Houston better than Dallas, but still...

Come on dude, no need to make up complete BS. It's a fact that Houston has more visitors than Dallas (was on a top 10 list), and Dallas is only slightly less polluted than Houston. Get a grip....
