BigT3x has been around longer and should know better than to throw nasty insults again and again.
.
With due respect youre making excuses for Houston posters for the same thing youre coming down on Dallas posters for. Its the same crap on both sides. Thats the very definition of hypocrisy.

Reading through a few, its blatantly obvious the OP was trying to trash Dallas and boost Houston at the same time. To drive this point home:

143. Houston: It’s Not Dallas

I will say I think Houstonians are a much more insecure lot than people from Dallas. Not just on CD but in real life.

If it was only "a little fun", why did he ask for proof when someone else retorted that he was wrong on the visitors comment?

NO. I do not "come down" on the Dallas posters who are reasonable. Only the ones who make extremely insulting, trollish comments.

I fail to see what's so offensive in someone saying that. Cheesy? Yes. Offensive, how? I hear other cities, in other states, say that about each other all the time.

How is saying something like this any better or more factual than something on the OP's list? That's the other problem here, we're all getting grouped into one dumb stereotype based on the actions of a few.

Now, would anyone else like to come at me tonight, or can we give it a rest?

2 Reasons Why Houston and Dallas are like a marriage:

1) each has a certain affection for the other
2) both secretly think they are superior to the other

He wasnt wrong. I proved that if you want to go back a page or two. The air O&D figures are higher out of the DFW air market. Having a city that is more "visited" vs. a city that has more people flying to it is not necessarily the same thing.

I'm not sure if that was directed at me, but I just want to be clear that that's not what I'm saying.

Dallas is smaller and less important, but not for the reason above.

That what drives me nuts about these threads. You Texans have more interest in tearing each other apart than building each other up.

Funny thing is that 9 times out of 10, when Austin posters or out of state posters try to trash Dallas, Houstonians are some of the first to come to the rescue and vice-versa.

Are you freaking kidding me!?! The very title of this thread proved that this is nothing more than a nasty insult towards Dallas!

Inferiority complex?

They're the top cities in the state for a number of reasons. This is more a fight over who's BETTER, not an inferiority complex.
