What develops is more meat grinder. Losses on both sides Ukraine should have taken the deal offered nearly two years ago now they farked around and found out. Wait for the Russian response if these long range missiles start hitting Russian population centers.

You do realize you could be talking about any number of US Presidents don't you?

Joe Biden will impose "crushing new sanctions" on Russia! What has he been waiting for?

Biden has said that make no mistake Putin is responsible for Navalny's death.

Meanwhile Biden has refused to comment on if Zelensky is responsible for Gonzalo Lira's death.

Biden has also been silent on a leak that the US plotted to assassinate Julian Assange.

Because those things are totally different for vague reasons!

AFU officially crossed back past their side of the Surovikin line. All this he-hah and many thousands of lives gone - for nothing.

Oh, sorry, "this is different", right? WE can do whatever we want to. THEY are Orks from Mordor.

"whataboutism" is no answer. If what the US did was wrong, that doesn't make what Russia did right. Orks? No. But Putin has crossed a line which caused a lot of death and sorrow and I don't get why some on this board are so happy about it.

Screw the media. Anyone can see that the situation has been a stalemate for the past 2 years. Anyone can see that without massive western aid Ukraine will have to capitulate eventually. We can argue about who is winning, but I am asking, why are you rooting for Putin?

Russia can sell at a discount (Which isn't abnormal to begin with) and still be quite profitable. Recent Western articles discuss how Russia's coffers are full, so it is quite possible that Russia is cash flush despite the war.
LOL!
From your link:
When commenting on the IHS Markit report, Russia’s energy vice-minister Pavel Sorokin stated that the report’s calculations had been overestimated........

So the source you relied on was Russia, who challenged the report made by IHS markit.

Russia. You believe Russia when they tell you what their cost is.

Russia is in deep Ka-ka. They are slowly being crushed by sanctions and international isolation.
Something else is crushing them, too, but we don't know what it is. The Russian Air Force is being taken out of the sky. The A-50 that was shot down today is irreplaceable. It is valued by some sources at $500M, and had a crew of about 12 officers.

I'm not rooting for Putin. I'm against our neoconish policy that thought carrying out a coup and antagonizing Russia with NATO membership for Ukraine was a good idea. I want that entire sector of our government to just disappear (drop all of them from a helicopter over the pacific if need be, Pinochet style) as they have done untold damage in the last 20-30 years. But for some reason, Americans keep playing into their script.

Well, 100s of billions dollars later (all of which we took on credit, meaning we're paying interest on it), 500,000 dead Ukrainians and Russians, and appears that Russia will walk away with at least 1/5 of Ukraine - are you happy? This thing could have been solved diplomatically back in 2022.

Oh, I know, Putin is the next Hitler or Stalin, and will march on Europe. We had no choice but to fund Ukraine .

Also, anyone can see that Ukraine cannot win the war with massive Western aid too? What is the end game?
