I answered, you just didn't understand (or are trying real hard to make it about something it isnt as some kind of "gotcha")
I support the cause, which in this case is people wanting the freedom to resume their social and professional lives, or said another way; restoration of their property rights.
Left wing, right wing, no winger, etc, has nothing to do with any of it.

Thank God our Democrat governor here in Louisiana will most likely reopen our state on May 15 unlike Michigan because he knows this is still a Republican state with a Republican legislature and a Republican electorate. I do think New Orleans and Baton Rouge should stay shut down for 2 more weeks because the situation really is bad here but the rural parts of the state really can open back up.
But I'm delighted to see that Whitmer has extended the order again, this will enrage many people in Michigan and turn people even more against the Democrats there, and help President Trump win again in November. Michigan will go for Trump again and that will help him win nationally. I can understand how Metro Detroit is having major issues with the Chinese Virus but I don't think a statewide order for Michigan is necessary, there's no reason for rural areas like the Upper Peninsula to be locked down for an entire month. The economic impact and the curtailing of religious freedom against Christians is definitely not making Michigan Democrats many new friends and probably losing some old friends!

But, even if guns are allowed, why did they come armed? To me, it was overkill. They just looked like a bunch, looking for trouble, can't people make a point without their guns?
I really respect the governor of Michigan. This virus is so scary. I wish our governor, would have waited at least until June, to reopen. I have mixed feelings about reopening. If everyone would just wear face masks out in public, (it's such a simple thing) and be really careful, because this horrific virus is out there, and we can't see it.
But it will be hard, no matter, when we march back into our lives. We have such a weak president, first he says one thing and the next minute, another. At least, most of the governors, have critical thinking skills.
The medicines are on their way, thanks to brilliant scientists and doctors, here in the US and other countries. There is hope, patience and common sense is what we need, now, and hope for better futures.
It's happened before with the black panthers. The voters in California immediately decided to ban open carry of firearms as a result.
If it happened again and they aren't breaking any laws, it's not my place to tell them what they can or cannot do. It doesn't matter about what I think of their message or purpose for assembling. I don't have any issue with BLM at all, but when they start making chants like "pigs in a blanket, fry em like bacon", I'm sorry but your movement starts to loose legitimacy if that kind of crap goes on at every "demonstration". And it's not just a couple bad apples saying crap like that. It's dozens of people chanting and advocating violence towards Americans.
Show me where you see this kind of stuff happening at this particular demonstration in Michigan. Or how about Trump rallies. I keep hearing that those are nothing but hate fests, but no one has been able to provide any legitimate evidence of this. Meanwhile, shameless agitators like Maxine Waters are advocating for democrats to get in people's faces and start crap if they are wearing a red hat. Total lies and hypocrisy from the left.
The point was BLM, you would be screaming if they came into a state capital carrying guns.
The government in that state is losing control of its people. Whole county governments are threatening to defy the orders. Armed gunmen are in the capital building and the republicans in the state house are trying to take away her power. Disorder and even violence may be coming to this upper midwestern state.
You cannot suppress the rights of Americans and not expect a large resistance. These people are patriots and I support them. This governor is likely going to be recalled. Her career is done. If she care at all about the state she represents then she should back down and then resign. If she digs in like you say then some very bad things may be coming for her state. Clearly the people do not support the virus lockdowns there. Government gains legitimacy from the consent of the governed. The people of Michigan obviously have not given consent for this level of government interference in their lives.
All she is doing is enforcing Trump's guidelines while these right wing republicans and conservative backers are trying their best to undermine her authority. She his attempting to enforce intelligent health policy while the far right is playing politics. I just find this so ridiculous that people wearing MAGA hats are protesting Whitmer for enforcing Trumps reopening guidelines, we are in really weird territory.

Can you please stop thinking about how to tell more people how to live, what they can and cannot say, what guns they can and cannot own and how much wealth it is fair for them to possess. I am so tired of leftists telling us how think, feel and what to say. We are free people and we owe nothing to the “feelings” of a leftist. You use this virus as a club to beat us with....we do net care, we are selfish etc. We are done listening to this rhetoric. This is not the Black Death. You people have destroyed the country for nothing and now conveniently socialism waits in the wings to save the day. That was the plan all along. The real reasons for the lockdowns has to do with paving the way for socialism.
I will continue to selfishly gaurd my freedom. I would however gladly and selflessly give my life to defend everyone’s freedoms. Nothing is more precious to an American than freedom. I’m not sure you would understand that however.

Are they going to storm Ohio capitol too now that they are extending the stay at home? I doubt they will, but maybe they would be paid to do so if the governor was a Democrat.
