While this is an extreme example, it is an easy example of white privilege. Not sure why some people still don't understand what white privilege means.
Oh right, because they're white, they don't really want it to exist.

So do you believe you have cis gender privilege, heterosexual privilege and tall privilege (if you're tall) as well?
Bringing up extreme identity politics and post-modernism in this situation is exactly what the far right ruling class want.
These protesters had guns, which they are allowed to have in that building. No weapons were discharged, and nobody was threatened or injured. But it's being called a "storming" and that the protest was violent.
Antifa, on the other hand, shows up to protests with bats, chains and pipes. They use those weapons to attack the police and their opposition. But that's called "exercising their rights to protest".

Has the world gone mad?
Bringing guns to a protest isn't a threat?

I know that Michigan is open-carry, and they are within their rights to bring guns. By why do it? Bringing guns, especially the type that you see people carrying in the photos, is an obvious threat. There was no reason for them to bring weapons except for the purpose of intimidation.
Which is alarming, to say the least. If armed thugs are going to patrol state capitols with military-style weapons for the purpose of intimidating governors, our democracy is definitely at risk.
Looks like the GOP have been influenced by the guns not the health of the people of the state.
