Contractual bonuses for bailout companies were not allowed in the Stimulus Pkg, then it is put in allowing it at the last minute (Dodd's fault or did he indeed follow the instructions of the Obama admin as he now claims?). The over 1,000 page Stimulus Bill is given to the House at the last minute so no one had time to read the entire thing. Now the Feds are blaming the companies who gave bonuses and those who received them -- today the Feds are voting on taxing the bonus money at 90%.

What??????? What is going on?
This is pretty alarming because it does not reflect a sound and stable government.

I certainly hope there is no revolution but things on Capitol Hill are pretty crazy.
THIS enrages me also.

It's actually not a bad idea to exclaim this. Obama holds a can do no wrong status to the sheeple and can afford to take the hit with very little political capital lost, so Dodd can deflect responsibility towards Obama. This can also help assure re-election for Dodd and an extra D in the Senate headcount. Take one for the team, ya know?

Clever, clever, clever.

I'm still trying to understand what the whole point of the "armed revolution" will be? This kind of threads are one of two: Funny or dangerous. I can't believe how some of the people here blame "poor people" for the way things are in the USA right now.
So, who is going to be in charge when this revolution comes? I think that instead of wasting our time with this we should be trying to figure out how to better the country and work together instead of trying to create a divide that will do us no good. But that's just me..

Meet at the Denny's, have some Grand Slams and Moon Over My Hammies, bizzitch about the current administration, and talk about guns.

Mainly about the breakfast at Denny's.

We could take our country back without fireing a shot. The states just have to stand together and tell DC thier services are no longer required, send new reps, and restructure with a little common sense. Take the power out of DC and put it back with the states where it belongs.

In other words, attempt to get rid of all the democrats and put republicans in their place.
