I dont think so. The Wall Street protests are a wasted effort. Just as our founders found freedom with the use of firearms, I believe that the government no longer respects or fears it citizens. The rot runs deep. Call me naive , but all the rest of these protests and preceived "change" through voting mechanisms are smoke and mirrors.

A COMPLETE collapse of the financial system that is based on insider trading and corporate cronyism would change this country. I would hope the thieves on Wall Street and their political whores in Washington would be replaced with sensible people that would restore market capitalism to the Street and honesty to the politicians. This sould result in a capitalistic economy and a government that provides for all the people not just the financial elite.

Scandinavian economies and government are examples.

And this is why NDAA was signed, sealed and delivered.
The internet chatter is full of "revolution" and TPTB want to keep their BAU.

I really don't think so. We are so far apart and it is getting wider every day, the chasm between Americans. We are probably now on a list somewhere for saying this, as I suspect I already am, due to certain puzzling incidences lately.
I know, conspiracy theories but, odd things have been happening that are strange for a vocal but almost 70 year old woman....LOL.

First McCain champions a ban on FCC regulation of the internet, and then does a 180° flip and backs SOPA. True colors of the snake. Shows just how horrible our choices were in 2008 for POTUS.

Hows that for irony?

As for armed revolution: I am loading up on ammo and will dig in to protect my property under my constitutional rights. I would prefer to see our citizens restore the premise that government should be afraid of us, not us of them. But, if push comes to shove -
U.S. most armed country with 90 guns per 100 people | Reuters

there are too many armed civilians in the world to deal with them by military force. We have the upper hand and that's why bEUROcrats want to disarm us via the WTO. We scare the snot out of those One World power mongers.

Americans have become spoiled. While we complain about the economy, wars, debt, spending, etc, most of us really don't have a dog in the fight.

No armed conflict is going to change this country because we have a long way to go before large numbers of people are going to ban together and overthrow the government.

The economy will turn around, Washington will limp along the way it always does, and life will go one. The likely outcome of all of this mess. Our government isn't going to be overthrown/replaced.
