Like I said I support the fence, expanded Border Patrol, expedited deportations etc, and unlike most others who support them, I realize it would cost money. The estimate is 28-40 billion a year, which a heck of a lot more than what we spend in it now. Anyone who screms "CRISIS" () and demands stuff like a fence, but refuses to pay for it, they are just a partisan trolls who whine for the sake of whining.

Since the thinking in the administration appears to be backwards on most everything, maybe the answer to your question is that if we keep them and others like them, we can eliminate all the crime and drug problems in their countries of origin and they'll stop flocking to the US to escape crime in their homelands.

Illegal immigration reduced, problem solved.

Luis Gutierrez to La Raza: Obama Assured Steps to 'Stop the Deportation of Our People'

Speaking at the National Council of La Raza conference in Los Angeles, Gutierrez said that Obama assured him during a White House meeting with Members of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus last week that he would be as "generous and broad" as he can to "stop the deportation of our people each and every day."

"You gave us a down payment when you freed 600,000 DREAMers from deportation," Gutierrez said. "Now it is time for the president in the United States... [to] free the Mom and Dads of the DREAMers. And to go further. Be broad and expansive and generous."
"Our" people? Aren't Americans his people? Besides, if memory serves me right Gutierrez is from Puerto Rican roots so how are Central Americans or Mexicans "his" people in any way? He is supposed to represent Americans since he is a U.S. congressman.

If I think back six billion was put out for a fence. Nothing happened and that money.........gone.

You are the one screaming crisis. Actually it is now as the border is a flood now. Why do we as a country allow it to happen? Don't blame Bush.......he is gone........blame dear leader and his minions.

No, something did happen. They authorized funding for 700 miles of fence, and they built 700 miles of fence.
