Heck they are already overwhelming the system.

Only 39% of welfare recipients are American citizens.

We spend over $1 trillion on welfare and that's growing by 20% annually.

Does that sound like a crisis ?

My whole point was that it was never a crisis. It has always been political football. If it was a crisis they would have signed the bill last year, and the fence construction crews, border patrol and National Guard would have been there for a year now. They don't want to fix it. Keeping the problem is more valuable for them politically than fixing it.

This "surge" was known by this administration.

All their charges and projections and budgets were planned for this.
I linked several charts from various agencies in other threads.
HHS budget more than doubled to deal with "unaccompanied minors".
They never intended to turn them back or prevent them from coming.

All the extra budget money was allocated for resettlement here.

Obama is for immigration so I don't know why you think he'd be in favor of building a wall to keep them out.

This is exactly why I said it is a crises only because people are being told it is a crises. In other words it is a fake crises, aka political BS, and people will parrot "this is a crises" until there is something better to talk about.

If it was a true crises, all branches of the government would spare no resource to combat it.
You are the one parroting a "crisis".

Those tough little buggahs will end up in MS13 killing folks here. Why do you support that?

Don't be so quick to dismiss MS13. They recruit in elementary and middle school.
MS13 is out to conquer the Latin Kings and become the dominant gang for Hispanics.

And it's scary enough to see 11 and 12 year olds drawing the 5 pointed crown and contorting their fingers to form the symbol. I truly don't want to start seeing MS13 symbols in schools.

MS13 do use minors to commit violent crimes because they are minors.

U.S. sanctions top members of MS-13 gang - Washington Times
“MS-13 is an extremely violent and dangerous gang responsible for a multitude of crimes that directly threaten the welfare and security of U.S. citizens, as well as peoples throughout Central America,” said Adam Szubin, director of Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control. “We will continue to target the leadership and financial networks supporting MS-13, and work with our law enforcement partners from across the United States and around the world to disrupt their criminal activities.”
