Oh, please. The people flooding our southern border haveNO ID. All they have to do is state a coached sob story about "escaping violence" in their home country, say they're from a country other than Mexico, and voilà ... they're IN, with refugee status, which automatically qualifies them for every form of public assistance available: SNAP, TANF, Medicaid, etc., etc.

Mexicans caught entering are generally turned around locally by bus. There is very low formality.

That doesn't reconcile this, which makes them INSTANTLY automatically eligible for public assistance such as SNAP, TANF, Medicaid, etc.:

How are they "caught?" Cite the official process for "catching" them. All any of them has to do is say they're from anywhere other than Mexico. Since they have no ID, there's no way to verify where they're from.

This is an informal local process. The BP leads them on a bus and hauls them over the border. They periodically do it to some American who annoys them. It is not documented well because no one wants it documented well.
Surprisingly enough, a lot of Hispanic Americans don't want illegal aliens here. Most are all in favor of legal immigration.
All the polls, marches, Hispanic advocacy groups prove otherwise. The majority of Hispanic-Americans are ok with illegal aliens of Hispanic ethnicity and want amnesty for them.
