Do you agree the detainees should be either released or transferred to prisons in the US?

I believe they should all have their day in court NOW. If there is no evidence against them they should be released. If they are and a court finds against them I don't really care where they are kept. Gitmo, in the U.S. or sent back to wherever they came from to be imprisoned, it doesn't matter to me. Let the courts decide.

My problem is holding them indefinitely.

So Obama made a promise, and now thinks everyone should help him meet it. Bringing those cretins onto US Soil isn't acceptable to the majority of Congress.

Do you have a problem with Ramzi Yousef being imprisoned here? Has there been some sort of problem with that? Has it caused you sleepless nights?

This is good news. We shouldn't be closing it, or bringing those terrorists to US soil.

Damn it...it's all Obama's fault.
Perhaps Obama should not make promises that he doesn't have the power to keep?

Yes. Try them. Sentence them, if guilty. Set them free, if found not guilty. Honor our American values and the lives lost protecting those values.

Thats not how it works and you know that..

Once again, when has Obama veto'd spending on Gitmo?
That's not how it works, as I've explained to you repeatedly.

But feel free to stick to that inane question that has no answer, since it's the best you have.

It's irrelevant. Obama doesn't have to veto spending to start the closing of Guantanamo.
