You are unwilling to accept that the US carries any blame with its aggressive Foreign Policy. I want the world to live in peace - but that means both sides boxing in the loons.
I for one think the USA policy in regards to Muslims is absurd. I mean now they want to aid Syrian rebels. Before it was Libyans. It is none of our business. Our policy should be one of defense and helping our allies. Now helping our allies does mean giving assistance to India, Israel etc. but beyond that injecting ourselves into the internal affairs of countries overtly is simply silly.
Unfortunately this country is still in the grip of neocons though so these things happen.

I was a christian for a long time, and you can take the bible and interpret it as you wish. Look at the loonies of the WBC.... Is the same thing.
You can take any religion and twist it to justify killing people (except maybe buddhism). Islam on itself is not evil, is how people choose to interpret it.
Nothing of the sort. The comparison rings hollow. The conflict in Northern Ireland is arguably more political than religious. Radical Islam, really Islam, simply wants dominion over the world or a large swath of the world. In order for that to happen the Great Satan (America) needs to crumble since it is realistically the only thing standing in its way. America falls, Israel vanishes the Middle East through North Africa is theirs. Attention can then focus to the West. With millions of Muslims already resident in Europe the task shouldn't be too difficult but who knows maybe by then the Europeans would have regained a backbone.
The Muslims really are still smarting over being kicked out Spain (by a woman no less) and being turned back at Vienna.
I still haven't figured how China figures into their plans but my guess is they feel they can deal with them. Russia will probably cede it's Muslim territories. The Hindus of India will put up a good fight, ironically they are one of the few people I've encountered who have no illusions about what Islam is a religion bent on conquest.
All I meant was that, like Northern Ireland, the goals of radical Islam are political ALSO - the terms "Catholic," "Protestant," or "Muslim" in the context of both Northern Ireland and, say, Indonesia, are laden with political meaning at least as much as religious meaning.

So China and the rest of East Asia were spared falling to the sword. Today there are few Muslims in East Asia, still China does have a problem with Muslim terrorism in its western lands.
Agreed Latin America doesn't figure prominently in the aims of Muslims. Although as one of the last outposts of Catholicism could offer some resistance and manpower in the global struggle against global jihad.
East Europe? We need to define what is East, Since we know the Turks hold sway over much of the Balkans and attempted to storm Europe through Vienna.
