The Islamic Republic Tazbekstan, (a fictional country used for an example), has a new hard-line Islamic dictator, and has instituted a program to rid his country of any non-Muslims

His program consists of rounding up any non-Muslims, including all Christians, Jews and atheists and subjecting all of them to execution by firing squad.

The UN has issued a declaration saying that it "recognizes the inherent dignity and worth of all human beings" and condemns all violence that is targeted against people because of their religious beliefs, or non-beliefs".

Would you support such a declaration?

It's their country - let them make their own rules. Who are we to offer an opinion? If they want to execute Jews, Christians, and Atheists, good for them.

I would suggest all non-muslims leave the country and let the muslims kill each other. Something they are so skilled at.

Banned by who?
The UN collective has their own atrocities to account for and is in no position to mete out moral justice.

A large number of people in this world (probably a majority) are not capable of leaving their home country for lack of money/means (transportation)/an open border/a country willing to let them immigrate etc etc etc.

On another thread here on CD I was reading on how kind the Muslims are, after all they give to the poor!! Amazing how some see their religion as peaceful and others see it as evil. To kill anyone for an opinion or religion is unacceptable.

The people have no choices it's convert or die. At least keep it fair....... give the people back there weapons.

This thread is a reaction to another thread in which a bunch of bible-thumpers claimed the US has no business objecting to countries executing people for the crime of homosexuality.

In your opinion, is it equally as unacceptable to kill anyone for their sexuality? How should the US deal with countries that do?

I take it that you have no problem executing people based on religious beliefs, am I correct?
