Islam might have had secondary role in Boston Marathon attacks - Metro - The Boston Globe
I'm lovin' it. Usually when a Muslim commits an act of terror, the excuse-makers claim they are extremist, fundamentalist, fringy-type Muslims, not your typical Muslim. With these two guys, the excusers portray them as not Muslim enough. Not obeyers of the strictist Islamic rules, just 2 wishy-washy, angry misfits who maybe weren't really, truly Muslim. It's like the old heads I win, tails you lose trick. The terrorist is too fundamentalist to be a real Muslim or not fundamentalist enough to be a Muslim.

This is why his staying alive is important, we need to know what went wrong to change this kid from someone who everyone describes as nice to a terrorist.

Ok, so they were "alienated men" and not your typical radical Islam extremists.
Then that means Obama's track record on terrorism isn't blemished.

Hasan...workplace violence
Benghazi...reaction to a movie
Boston...alienated men

And all the "terrorist" incidents that the FBI/CIA uncovered and defused because they had been leading these guys on are valid "terrorist plots" that the government sucessfully stopped.

And I'm expected to believe this ? Really ?

Well I think they have the wrong guy to ask those questions to as it was the brother that got radical, left the country, quit his job, dropped out of school and blathered on about religion.

The one in the hospital was out partying and tweeting.

Some people use religion as an outlet for their hatred, some use racism, others use politics.
You're angry so you have to invent a reason to have an enemy to blame. Whether its a different religion, ethnicity, race, political party, or socioeconomic group.
You see it here on these boards.
But the older brother was certainly very religious and very screwed up. That the Boston Globe might suggest otherwise should come back to haunt them, people are angry over this and they'll see right through stupidity like that.

Well it will be interesting going forward to see if more media start taking this approach downplaying the radical religious aspect.

Is it that to believe that the boys may not have grown up very religious? Just look at this family in the media. Neither the mother nor aunt wore hijab, for example. Some Muslims, like Christians, pick up their religion at certain times are year and that's basically all.
So you think not wearing a hijab means you're not Muslim and thus not a factor in this case?

Already begun in earnest. Here's an article comparing the brothers to the Columbine killers.
Tsarnaevs and Columbine: Were Dzhokhar and Tamerlan like Dylan Klebold and Eric Harris? - Slate Magazine

Another saying that the terrorist being Muslim shouldn't matter
The Boston Bombers Were Muslim: So? - Megan Garber - The Atlantic

For the Left wing of this country nothing can shake them from political correctness. It really is a religion to them.

Yeah..articles are out there. Here's two but there's more if you google.

I especially like this one..Americans are too stupid to form opinions so the government will tell you how to feel.
Just wait for the government to tell you.

Obama: Don't form opinions on Boston attacks just yet | The Daily Caller
Americans should not decide their opinions about the Boston terror attacks until the government decides its own opinion, President Barack Obama told the nation late Friday night.

Charles Krauthammer: Using the word 'terrorism' makes Obama uneasy | Deseret News
There was much ado about President Obama's non-use of the word "terrorism" in his first statement to the nation after the bombing. Indeed, the very next morning, he took to the White House briefing room for no other reason than to pronounce the event an "act of terrorism."
..
The president said that terrorism is any bombing aimed at civilians. Not quite. Terrorism is any attack on civilians for a political purpose. Until you know the purpose, you can't know if it is terrorism. Sometimes an attack can have no purpose.
