The left wing press keeps trying to spin this by asking questions like what motive could they have had, is it the hard life they grew up in a war torn country bla bla bla. How does not know that its obvious they are attacking the USA over religion. Muslims feel attacked by the USA over the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. Its why OBL attacked, The war in Iraq and a military presence in Saudi Arabia.
Its not hard to see its the same crap that the Fort Hood shooter attacked over. Yelling allahu akbar. Now the left wing press is trying desperately to spin it as anything but. This is because they want to have an inclusive view of Islam. "Its really a peaceable religion. No its Fing not. Its anything but that. The left wants to be tolerant of every one and every thing but the gun culture, Christian religion and White males.

The most likely scenario, especially as it pertains to the younger brother, is that he's just been using religion as a rationalization for his behavior. Nothing could be more American: Paying nothing more than lip service to what one claims is their religion, cherry-picking the bits that excuse what you want to do and ignoring the aspects that would argue against what you want to do. That's actually the general case in our society, a reflection of the inadequacy of those archaic religions that so many Americans still claim association of as much as a reflection of the self-serving nature of the rhetoric itself.

Muslims hate America because of who America is and what America represents. Muslims hate the core of American culture and they fear that America’s influence in politics, entertainment, and wealth will erase their culture. To a devout Muslim America is vile, blasphemous, and as far from “pure” as pure can be. Muslims see American women degrading themselves on the silver screen and being unfit as wives and mothers. Muslims see American men as slovenly, easily corruptible, lacking of virtue, and wallowing in one vice or anther. Are they wrong?
Bad people are doing bad things. It happens everywhere for many reasons. The threats of radical Islam seem to represent a much smaller threat to a country like America than say, gang violence, drunk driving, even the diseases caused by criminal cases of pollution - but with those things, you can't really blame the other. You have to look much closer to home, and people don't like that.

Fine, so there is a general disagreement about fault, but after a certain point, fault actually doesn't matter. All that matters is cause. We can choose to blind ourselves by kowtowing to those who refused to admit that things have causes, and thereby ineffectually flail around trying to address the problem, or we can get the sane people in society to stop allowing ignorance to prevail and start addressing the causes, i.e., mitigating the underlying reasons why others specifically choose to target us.
I think you are mistaken. There is a concerted effort on the part of Islamists in this country to "blend in." So, though they may appear to be, "not Muslim enough" (according to what you claim that "excusers" are saying — I haven't seen any such rhetoric), this would mean nothing.
We do not yet know what their motives were, except that there are reports of posts and tweets that were indicative of radical Islamist views. Their uncle said he does not know who has taught them this.
It does seem clear at this point that their motives were rooted in Islamic teaching.
Islam's history is of Jihad. It was the reason for the Crusades, as Islamists had been invading and conquering the Christian countries.

I find this interesting since they fail to mention that muslims have been in this country for decades without incident and now all of the sudden they hate America? Maybe if we quit bombing their country killing innocent women and children. Just imagine if they did to us what we do to them this country would be at war as we speak.
