Did you read the data I provided?

What data are you referring to? Or can you repost the link?

You guys want to make it easier to buy a gun than to buy a beer, sorry if you have to fill out a form and present ID.
You live in Chicago and don't know what you are talking about.

I've given you the links to the Chicago PD gun permitting forms website and the citizen's committee which itemizes how Rahm Emanuel is skirting the law by placing strict regulations that have made it much harder to get those permits. Sure, you can own a gun, but most people can't navigate through the permitting process.

You are denying, even though Chicagoans may be able to own a gun, it's little more than a symbolic gesture. It's a joke; much like California where (I do live) our strict and ridiculous gun bans pale in comparison.

I don't need to live in Chicago to understand how corrupt it is. The poor image of your city has been well established.

If someone can't fill out a gun permit form than the person is an idiot and i feel safer with them not having a gun.

If you want to cry about California's strict gun bans you can thank Ronald Reagan, but you'll probably blame Obama.

You can cherry pick one year if you like, but what about the rest of the years?

OK, total murders in Chicago have generally been declining except for a rise in 2008 and this year.

And so, your point was?
