Personhood USA will never be successful with their initiatives, at least not when they are so extreme. I wouldn't worry too much about them.

They still scare me, this is the third time they have tried this in my state.
I didn't even know they tried in 2010 until tonight. I need to keep up more with their involvement so their attempts can be thwarted each and every time.

What they are trying to do would violate my right to freedom to religion and my beliefs.

Personhood USA wasn't even successful in Mississippi in November. Do you really think they have any chance in Colorado?

They shouldn't. Birth control is not going to be made illegal.

BTW, in your OP when you said they would make birth control illegal if they had the chance, that's simply not true. Mitt Romney even explicitly said "I like contraception" in an earlier debate.

Santorum is the only one who really seems anti-birth control and has said that he thinks states should be able to ban it, but what state would ban it? He's never said that he thinks there should be a federal ban and in fact, even though he's said states should be able to ban it, I think he's also said it should remain legal. So he seems to have made some contradictory statements.

But - let's say that Santorum was elected president and came out in favor of a federal ban on birth control. That wouldn't happen for several reasons:

1) Griswold v. Connecticut - he could appoint Supreme Court justices who might overturn this ruling, but

2) Presidents don't make law - he'd have to get a law passed by Congress which would never happen, and

3) Even if Griswold v. Connecticut was overturned and a federal law was enacted banning birth control, it could be challenged under the 10th Amendment as a state's rights issue (and, like I asked earlier, what state would ban it?)

Once the dreaded health insurance mandate becomes a reality employees and students can shop for a policy that meets their needs. Disconnect employees from employer health insurance.
AMEN, says me.

I wonder if anyone will try to control how their employees spend their money? It's not far fetched.

There are lots of crazy fringe groups in America.

There is a group that wants to ban guns - an explicit right. You might have heard of them - they call themselves Democrats.
