I've heard this before. Rush said it too. Who is making you pay for someone else's birth control? The insurance company will gladly pay it as it lowers their overall costs.
So, to repeat and repeat again that the government is making you pay for someone else's birth control is misinformation.
Moreover, government has a right to regulate insurance and has been doing it for many decades. Government mandates many care items in policies that I am sure you are unaware of. Mandating that insurance companies seek out employees on a plan and write them plans, at no cost, providing CB, does not infringe upon any religious rights that you have.
Do "insurance companies" draw money in the air to pay for birth control or does this money ultimately come from those who provide the insurance?
We don't have to LIKE whats happening, and we can't control what other people do, we just have to deal with the fallout somehow. You don't want to pay for idiots mistakes so what do you suggest short of ignoring or getting rid of the idiots?
I know it was, thought you knew me by now! And this is a good question back. Wish i had the answers. Maybe more education in the high schoold, maybe junior high. These girls need to be made aware of the coneuqences of these actions should they become pregnant.
I remember watching a show last year on tv, where there were teens. They had pretend dolls, that looked so real. The teen girls, had to act like the Moms, and could not go out, or the instructors would know it.
They had to feed the babies, burp them, diaper them, love them. just as they would a real baby. If the dolls cried, and were not picked up, the instructors knew it, and the girls got in trouble.
It was a good experiement, because some of the girls, said after this, they would definitely not become pregnanat, they realized how hard it was.
