Given the reactions by many in urban areas to police and the legal system, I'm not sure the premise of the question is accurate.

Given that most "mobs" we see are in urban places, such as Seattle for the WTO violence, I'm even less sure of the validity of the premise.

Truly odd, since they're usually poorer, and actually receive more government money than the rest of us... Oh, the irony.

They're only anti-police when the cops aren't arresting the bourgeois.

Outrageous that rural Red States can lecture urban dwellers how much more "moral" they are.

Chart of the Day: Red States, Blue States, and Morality « Vox Nova
They also lead the country in hypocrisy.

Funny, none of my rural friends and neighbors receive "government money".
You must travel in a different rural circle than I.

I must. Either that or I rely on statistics, and not anecdotal evidence.

Seriously? Self-sufficiency and not leeching off of taxpayers is considered ignorance by urbanites?

Sad.

Rural America is no more self sufficient than anywhere else. They suck off of the federal teet as much as anyone else when the dollars are added up.

Let's be honest, urban areas are where wealth is made, and where most wealthy people are. Not really all that surprising that rural areas tend to have much more poverty, and therefore receive more government assistance.
