Funny how the high mucky-mucks in the Republican party all of a sudden want to pull back on the birther nonsense so that it doesn't taint the next election by making them look foolish. Maybe they've learned a lesson here about deliberate slander and how it can come back and bite you in the butt.

Tens of MILLIONS??? there are only 3,000,000 people in Iowa, assuming one million are repubs that would mean that based on your cite only 480,000 repub Iowans question where Obama was born. NOT that they doubt if he is a legal citizen, just that they doubt where he was born...

I'll be happy to tell you as soon as Obama releases his records, including a certified copy of his original birth certificate, and the State Dept 'finds' the rest of his mother's passport records.
If Abercrombie supposedly knew Obama so well, why didn't he know that Obama was actually in Seattle as an infant, not Hawaii?
A certified copy of an original birth certificate is not provided by the state of Hawaii, nor is it provided by the state of NY or a bunch of other states. They do however, provide a state certified copy of your birth certificate, and in the case of Obama, he has released a state certified birth certificate that has been verified by the state of Hawaii and that meets all U.S state dept requirements.
The point is that not all is as it seems with the Obama birth/background 'narative' that has been disseminated for public consumption. Abercrombie 'claims' to have known Obama as a baby in Hawaii. How is that possible when he was in Seattle as an infant?
I am thinking about it. I've asked repeatedly for the people who don't think that he was born in Hawaii to please explain what they DO think happened. Care to share?
