Street fighter with Jean Claude Van Damme. Awful, So-bad-it's-good. Cheap looking sets and effects, hammy acting and dialogue. The bad guy was played by the great Raoul Julia and his last film sadly. Van Damme has gotten better over the years but this film had him making faces mostly. Too funny.

The 1957 science fiction movie 'Kronos'. An alien race having run out of energy resources on its own planet sends a giant remote controlled machine, an energy accumulator to steal our energy.

Here's a trailer.

And the entire movie.

The Invention of Lying. A truly delightful movie, not a new one, but very good. It depicts a world in which lying is unknown and entirely outside everyone's frame of reference, until one day a man in a pinch lies, and wonder of wonders, realizes no one has a clue. He takes banks for fortunes, helps another man do the same, then he invents The Man in The Sky, who's rules we all must live by and who determines what happens to us after we die.

The movie has many amusing details, such as honest advertising: Pepsi, for when they don't have Coke. Please don't stop buying Coke, we need the money, and people being frightfully honest about their sexual motives.

You've got to be one sour @$^ to not like this movie, no doubt about it.

Boyhood with Patricia Arquette and Ethan Hawke. Filmed over a 12 year period. A good movie if you like independent films.

I still have plenty of VHS left. Never going to throw them away. But the problem is that my Panasonic VHS machine from the early 90's is not working. When i push the tape in, it immediately pushes it out.

The last movie I watched was Person of Interest. Millionaire Mr. Finch (Michael Emerson) has developed a program that allows you to analyze the collected information and intelligence agencies to identify future victims or perpetrators. From this momemnt their ways were separated: the United States government is only interested in the safety of the country, and Flinch is trying to prevent any sacrifice. There is a wonderful and great shooting action in the series. I watched this series at tvstock.net
