No Mercy (2010) South Korean Thriller

Very good crime drama with an unexpected twist.

Watched "Man of Steel" yesterday... wanted to like it... really did.. but god was it frustrating. The acting was atrocious... no personality anywhere! Every conversation had was so monotone.

"Hercules" with The "Rock" himself! It was OK if you like to see "the Rock" in a Santa's getup of long hair, dark brown beard and mustache also showing his skinny lower legs, especially his calves and ankles!

Yesterday I watched with a friend on Netflix a movie from 2012 called "Erased" which has a kind of convoluted plot.

Calvary (2014). Almost made my 2014 top ten. Sat through all of the credits (and was rewarded by the extra scenes) - which I only do for films I really like. A few qualms, but other than that it is a solid film and one I wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

The very last movie I watched half-way through was Seize the Day; Robin Williams' acting was very good but I didn't care for some of the supporting cast and just couldn't stick with it.

Before that I watched Ordinary People; hadn't seen it in years. I thought Timothy Hutton gave an extraordinary performance at such a young age and I can see why he won the Oscar. The rest of the cast was excellent as well.

"Let the right one in" Swedish version... not good
"Breathless" with Gina Gershon and Val Kilmer... a bit worthless.
