Calvary (2014). Almost made my 2014 top ten. Sat through all of the credits (and was rewarded by the extra scenes) - which I only do for films I really like. A few qualms, but other than that it is a solid film and one I wouldn't hesitate to recommend.
Hoping to see that this weekend...received good scores on Rotten Tomatoes (critics: 89%, audience: 83%).
We saw The Hundred-Foot Journey (Helen Mirren) the other night, and we liked it. Two thumbs up.
Amazing spiderman 2.
One of those movies where I like a lot of things about it. Just that for some reason the whole doesn't work or it doesn't keep you watching.
47 Ronin. Meh. Was ok at best.
LegoMovie. Cool movie, will probably get it since my 3 year old daughter keeps asking to watch it again.
I watched all three Dhoom movies and boy were they good and the music, you just wanted to join dancing Besharam. <the movie was entertaining and loved the music also
I thought for sure it was going to be stupid, low-brow sex and pot humor and there was actually more than that in it. I like a variety of comedy and the same few jokes.
Blue Ruin (2013) and Two Bits (1995). Thumbs up for both.
