Civil War was well done. Apocalypse was not. Bryan Singer should stop making X-men movies.

I did like the girl that played Storm. Olivia Munn was pretty good as Psylocke.

And that's bad how?

The costume's pretty faithful.

Psylocke, not Apocalypse. I'll see it in 3-4 days, I'll give my thoughts then... I buy people not liking it but I don't want to give my opinion until after.

Comics don't always translate well into live action. When you look at a super hero or super villain, your first instinct should never be to giggle. It's one of the things most of the Marvel movies have done pretty well. The costumes are close enough to the source material that there is no doubt who you are looking at. But they tone down the silliness. The X-movies have not been as successful at this.

Super hero costumes had their origins in the circus. It's past time we left that behind.

Olivia needed bigger boobies if you want to compare her to that pic.

I didn't want to use a cosplay pic. It's an actual panel, not fan art.

Yeah, and they blew it with Cap in the first Avengers movie. His suit was AWFUL. In fact, this shot, which is supposed to make you fist-pump on cue, drew some chuckles in the theater:

That said, I don't see any problem with Psylocke's outfit. I think it's just you.

I don't see the issue in this Captain America costume. The 70's and 90's versions though are laughable. Just Google image search them.

Yeah, they're hilarious.

All the Cap suits are fine except for the one in Marvel's The Avengers. It's that "Hot Wheels blue." It looks like it came off the rack at the Halloween Store.

To put it simply, X-Men: Apocalypse was a failed "up the ante" entry into the series. Quicksilver was fun, and Jean Grey has "that moment," but the overall storytelling was bad and boring. What a waste.
