Ask doctors / nurses / EMT personnel who have been wearing masks for decades whether they work or not.
No, they haven't been wearing them for decades, and not for respiratory viruses. Their is no conclusive evidence that masks have worked for respiratory viruses. Masks at best can stop anything .30 and up, while viruses are .06 to .12. Not to mention they don't want to study the side effects of wearing a face diaper all day. Many only want to believe masks don't work cause Trump refused to wear one. Show me wear anyone in America was wearing a mask for the flu or the cold prior to the stupid mask mandates in 2020.

A better solution would be better ventilation and a better immune system...but yea that doesn't fit the narrative of control.

^So many things incorrect about this, not even gonna start. But decades, seriously? Have you ever had surgery or a major dental procedure without the professional wearing a mask?

Sieving is not the only filtration mechanism when it comes to filtration in a gas. It's entirely possible to filter particles much smaller than pore size through other means.

You are confusing bacteria with viruses. There are studies from the early 80's that show doctors were not getting infecting with viruses due to not wearing a mask during surgery. A mask during surgery has to do with spit and blood...much larger than viruses. And really if you need a surgery for your knee or elbow and our out cold do you know or care that the doctor is wearing a bacteria trap.

So still explain to me why we have never worn masks for viruses over a century.

Hopefully thinking, but good luck. Wear a bacteria trap all you want, just don't make others. I would rather trust my immune system and be exposed to stuff...not sit in a cave thinking I'm fake safe.
