Yep. It’s the modified vaccine. Both kinds. Country AND western.

Well, almost 2 days later, happy to report that this set of "side effects" was the mildest ever. The injection site of the Covid vax is still sore, but otherwise pretty much OK! Good luck with yours today.

I was supposed to get my vaccination this morning, but CVS canceled the appointment. I have a new one set up for Wednesday. I wonder if they didn't end up with enough supply or something. Anyway, thanks for reporting back!

Deniers of what? The fact that unvaccinated people aren't dying like the mass media said. They aren't keeping stats of vaccinated vs unvaccinated...or what their health is when they die. But hey lets not look at the vaccinated people dying of this new made up crap "SADS". On average 8,000 people die in America every day, it is easy to manipulate statistics to one direction. Not to mention look at those dying in the hospital with "experimental protocols".

It is easy to blame the unvaccinated and healthy, meanwhile I don't know any of them have any issues. But hey lets just say the vaccine works cause people survived when they said it stopped the virus. Now they say it helped with severed illness. Wait you mean it helped people with severe illness that weren't at risk. Wake up, big pharma and media owns you.

mRNA new booster only tested on mice, not people, FDA approved anyway. From mice to guinea pigs, but don't worry, you will be monitored closely for the "expected" safety and efficacy of the jab!

And your credentials qualify you to second guess the medical profession. Got it.

First of all, with their previously introduced Covid-19 vaccines, both Moderna and Pfizer have just demonstrated their ability to bring forth safe and efficacious Covid-19 vaccines using a modified mRNA encoding of the spike protein.

The new vaccines use the same approach and formulations, and even contain some of the earlier antigen mRNA, plus the same component of the new variants BA.4/BA.5 - so these are straightforward extensions of their prior vaccines.

Moderna has also gotten good looking clinical data this summer from their updated mRNA-1273.214 vaccine, which was a bivalent combination of the original vaccine + the mRNA encoding of the BA.1 (Omicron 1) spike protein. On the basis of that clinical data, the FDA approved mRNA-1273.214 at the end of August.

The FDA advised Moderna to bring forward another mRNA spike protein vaccine, based on the new Omicron 4 & 5 variants (BA.4/BA.5) - to get something more up to date for the critical fall Covid season. Moderna responded with mRNA-1273.222, which is a combination of the original vaccine + BA.4/BA.5 spike antigens encoded as mRNA - so this is the next formulation in this series.

It's true that only preclinical studies have been concluded so far on mRNA-1273.222, but clinical studies are in progress now. The FDA has approved mRNA-1273.222, based on it being a fairly straightforward extension of earlier, successful vaccines from the same company. For those who are always making conspiracy allegations - the FDA has also approved influenza vaccines in the past which are likewise a straightforward extension from the same company - a "strain change", so yes, there's precedent for this.

If people are worried, they can wait until those clinical results come out. I am not that worried about it, and plan to get the mRNA-1273.222.

Perhaps this is adding irrelevant stuff to the thread, but we should be at least a little worried about the situation with polio in New York. Just as with COVID, it's detectable in sewage, and it's been found in various places in New York City and nearby. If it's widespread there, have we got it too? New York has declared a state of emergency, and I don't see the point of that when there aren't more than a tiny number of people sick, but I suppose nobody knows what might happen.

It would be useful to hear what the rate of immunization for polio is in Massachusetts. And are there groups which have failed to get children immunized and are therefore at risk?

Same with the flu vaccines over the years, and they have worked very well.
