Agree it's the only tracker I pay attention to now. Hope this is not just a blip downward, but continues the rest of the summer. At least until the (expected) broader spectrum vaccine is available in the fall.

This was my experience with the boosters as well, made my appointments for a local CVS, walked in, got my shot, walked out. The original vaccine was a little more involved as I had to travel to a CVS about 30 minutes away that had appointments available, but even that wasn't too big of a deal.

Any word on if 10th booster you get a free sub at subway. Or maybe they should be giving more scratch tickets away. Or some life insurance.

I've gotten fully vaxxed, Pfizer, and double-boosted. No complaints so far and the last jab was May 27, 2022.

Only in the sense that being dead is the only 100% proven way to prevent further COVID infection. In preventing death, vaccines make it possible for you to get sick from COVID more often. You can also be alive to catch other diseases, or cancer, or even get hit by a bus.

Otherwise, in the sense that vaccination shows a measurable effect in preventing COVID infection, no, the jab will not "make you sick more often".

Pivoting to "vaccinated people are constantly getting sick because they are fortunate enough to still be alive" doesn't really work when the survival rate of the virus even before vaccines and with more virulent variants was about 99.4%. Actually, it doesn't work at all.

Claiming that since vaccinated people get sick that the vaccine is the cause is even less compelling. The evidence suggests exactly the opposite. And yet here we are.

Not worth arguing with those who deny or fail to grasp basic logic, or are convinced the vax is part of a big bad conspiracy.
