Yup... Get ready for more boating, Golf, and outdoor stuff. Cold in Western U.S, Jet Stream lifting north in Eastern U.S as been the case for months now.

However.... I've seen many many times where we were golfing one day and shoveling a few days later. It's New England. Expect the changes. We'll see.

I saw some statistics about snow fall and compared to last year wow you guys have not had any where close to the same amount of snow. I can ship you some rain if you want it. We are drowning out here in Oregon. We even had a tornado yesterday. It was small and di not do much damage but it was confirmed as an EF -1

Go Habs Go! Yeah, all that moisture you're getting is snow for the mountains. Sierra Mountains are doing incredible this year. Where there's warm, there's cold on the other side.

Eastern U.S has been warm because the Jet stream is Dipping in the West/Central U.S. It's happened before. I hope nobody acts surprised.

Enjoy Spring this weekend in Northeast! Things change to colder next week.

Rats- I wish we had some snow in the forecast here for Princeton. While the warmer weather is nice in theory, when one has 5 dogs, it also makes mud when it rains. I usually just put down an old quilt at the door for the paws until they dry off.

I am so hoping for a white Christmas this year. Last year it rained...

I think the mountains out here are getting blasted with snow and we need it. Still raining. It does stop for short periods of time. All we need is some cold air to come down from Canada and we could get snow here in the valley. Ihave lived in the Pacific Northwest for 27 years and have had 1 white Christmas in all that time. I also went home for a couple Christmases back to PA and those were white.

Cambium- as usual, you know more than TWC ( the weather channel ) does. This morning- not a hint of any snow or ice, and just now the forecast was changed to an inch of snow with some sleet.
Going to be slushy- but I'll take it
