310 AM EST MON NOV 30 2015

RAIN MAY CHANGE TO SNOW BEFORE ENDING AS COLDER AIR BEGINS ARRIVING FIRST ALOFT AND THEN AT THE SURFACE LATE WEDNESDAY NIGHT AND INTO THURSDAY WHEN THE UPPER LOW MOVES OVERHEAD. BEST CHANCE OF ANY ACCUMULATION WOULD BE IN THE MOUNTAINS.

Just checked. Thought you guys might be interested....or sad.

Snowfall total this season so far... Goodland Kansas 6.9", Caribou Maine 4.1"
Sioux Falls, SD has 8.6" and more being added today

North Platte Nebraska seen 8 days with snow falling this month while Bangor Maine saw just 2.
Total so far though 2.1" for LBF & 2.5" for BGR

Des Moines Iowa with 6.9" but missing the snow today

Waterloo Iowa 12.7" but they are missing the snow this time.

Mason City, Iowa 10.0"

December is always a bit iffy for snow.............some years a lot, some years almost none.

You mean November? Or for what location in December? Looking at Caribou's data since 1940 there's never been a December with No snow. Only 7 years with less than 10 inches.

Most was Dec 1972 with 59.9"
Least was Dec 1982 with 4.0"

Bangor since 1926 only 5 years with less than 2" of snow in December.

Starting to feel like this was a bad year to buy a ski pass..... although technically winter doesn't start for a few more weeks.

That's how my husband thinks about the now 'rev-d up snow blower'.
The few inches we got a few days was just enough to make the dogs silly but not much else...

You don't remember last year? Almost nothing to speak of until Jan 26---when it started to snow and never stopped until March 23.

I heard blowing snow for Maine Thursday. Havent looked into it but snow is on the way. Advisories are out.
