* LOCATIONS... NORTHERN AND EASTERN MAINE. COASTAL WASHINGTON AND COASTAL HANCOCK COUNTIES AS WELL AS NORTHERN AROOSTOOK COUNTY ARE NOT INCLUDED IN THE WINTER STORM WATCH AT THIS TIME.
* HAZARD TYPES... SNOW
* SNOW ACCUMULATIONS... 8 TO 12 INCHES.
* TIMING... DEVELOPING TUESDAY MORNING AND ENDING BY EARLY WEDNESDAY MORNING.
* IMPACTS... MODERATE. SNOWFALL WILL RESULT IN SOME TRAVEL DIFFICULTIES WITH ROADS SNOW COVERED AND SLIPPERY.
* WINDS... NORTHEAST 5 TO 10 MPH WITH GUSTS TO 20 MPH.
* TEMPERATURES... HIGHS TUESDAY 10 TO 15 DEGREES ACROSS THE CROWN OF MAINE TO THE UPPER 20S ALONG THE COAST. NEAR STEADY TEMPERATURES TUESDAY NIGHT.

Yup, all day here in Knox county, inland- it kept going back and forth between 5-8 and 8-12.

According to the most recent map, we are in the 10-14" range Tuesday, with another 1-3 Tuesday night.

I am now a trained and certified "weather spotter" Until a month ago I thought a snowboard was something kids use to terrify skiers. Nope. It now my official snow depth measuring device.

Looks like 5-8 now..... That's barely enough to snowblow. Looks like its fizzling. More weather channels fear mongering.

Now lowered it to 3-5. Its fizzling. No need for the snow blower. The Subaru and the AWD Torrent goes thru 4 inches without a problem. We have a little less than 4 now in BH.
