Hi everyone!!

Well, I had my doctor appt. this morning and hubby and I got our flu shots too!! Turns out that I don't need to see the rhematologist after all. It is my rotator cuff......now I'm scheduled to start therapy for my shoulder and elbow next week!! We discussed my cholesterol while I was there too!! He had started me on Lipitor in May and it caused me to hurt so bad that I just stopped it on my own. So, we are going to try Crestor once a week, then twice a week and if I have no problems then we'll go with three times a week!! Hopefully it won't cause the muscle pains that the Lipitor caused!!

Suzanne, your were right, the flu shot didn't hurt at all!! I'm a real baby about needles!!! Actually back in my childbirthing days, I had all three of of my kids with no medication at all because I was petrified of needles!!!! If it were today, I'd say "DRUG ME UP, DOC and wake me when they are THIRTY"!!!!!! LOL

Gailli, thanks for the info.......I'm calling about that appt. this afternoon!!!

It's a cold, rainy, yucky day here in the valley!!! How is it up on the plateau, Bones???

Gailli, What happy faces! Think he looks like 'grandma'!

Bebette, so relieved to hear the flu shot experience was an uneventful one! I get mine next Wednesday. Tally ho!! I will wait until I hear your experience with Dr. Smith before I decide where/when I will face the laser! Hope this is the same Dr. Smith?

I know many have mentioned the rain in TN; we had a gully washer this morning; now, we're left with humidity! Yuck!

It's the Dr. Smith that did Gailli's cataract surgery!! I'm just hoping he'll say that my cataracts are finally bad enough to require surgery!! I want to see things 'clear' again!!!

My hubby has never had a flu shot and didn't want to have one this year!! He read the sheet they gave him with all of the possible side effects and was ready to back out!! I assured him that being over 60 and having the flu would be much worse than the side effects that he 'might' have from the shot! Luckily they called us back right then and he didn't have any more time to think about it!!! LOL

Gotcha
Gailli- Thanks for sharing, what a cutie!
BeBette- Heres hoping that the part of last years nasty flu they put in this years shot, covers any nasty foreign flu's that make the rounds.

Oh gosh, I always do the trick or treat thing. Many of my neighbor kids go to more affluent areas but I'll get a dozen or so. My last street had no kids on it and it got lonely.

My favorite trick is to rig a plastic spider on string through a hook on the porch ceiling so it lowers down when I open the storm door. Good times.....
