Just returned from a trip -- I defrosted some shredded pork in a very light barbecue sauce -- probably have it with mashed potatoes and some peas and/or a salad. Herbal tea and dried figs for dessert.
Hubby is recovering from surgery so is taking the hard stuff, which makes him not hungry (yay). Tonight he had cereal and toast. I had grilled cheese and tomato basil soup.
I want him back to normal, but if left to my own defenses, I’d be a lot thinner.
Tonight we are having red beans and rice, air-fried honey chicken wings, collards, and corn muffins. I am still annoyed at them for eating the lemon bars and not saving me any, so they still aren't getting any dessert!
BBQ rotisserie chicken with green beans and mashed potatoes with gravy. Sierra Nevada Celebration IPA to drink.
