Shrimp gumbo. It’s in-progress. The sliced andouille sausage is browned. The celery-green pepper-onion-garlic-japalino & Serrano with a ton of thyme is sautéing now. Roux-diced tomato-water-add everything in a few minutes. Should be ready in an hour & 15 or so.

Some Veggie and chicken egg rolls with fried rice. Sweet and sour sauce for dipping. Iced tea.


Dessert: shared a slice of Tiramisu cake.

Ina Garten's best meatloaf recipe - I make two loaves. One is wrapped in bacon the other is smeared with ketchup before baking. Served with mashed potatoes and a side salad.
