SO asked for meatloaf. No ground meat so hello KitchenAid. Beef/pork and baked with lots of onion/carrot/celery, mashed potatoes, the neverending rabbit food.

I thawed out two quarts of that pea soup I made a couple of months ago. It's going to be things from the freezer, scavenger's choice or take me out until Christmas.

We have some fresh mandarins and there's a crusty baguette from the freezer.

I got up to a cute surprise. Apparently DH had eaten a couple of mandarins for breakfast. And he peeled them whole in the shape of stars, turned them white side up and drew a happy face on the top arm of the star. They greeted me on the kitchen table this morning. They looked like little Oompa Loompas.

I have 2 top sirloins in the sous vide which will finish off on the grill (because the Texas weather is bi-polar and it's 78 degrees right now), baked potatoes, and sautéed spinach.
